Seriously, it wouldn't be the same if Pete didn't do a big bird. And his big threads, I still haven't got through the Phantom one yet!!
Good that Nigel is in too, wouldn't be the same without the Grand Master in action!
I'm going 1:32 for this one too .... and maybe a 1:72 later, we'll see.
Might be a GB for the rookies hey?
I don't know if I'm Top Gun, (Top Plum) would be more like it lol. From my side I'm left thinking "how do I top my Phantom" I do want to push myself further, but at the same time I don't know if I will be able to commit the time I would need to build another big diorama, but you never know, that Unicorn can be very persuasive
When he wants to be, and I do have a couple of 8" x 4" sheets of MDF kicking around from the mancave
Build that are just getting in the way lol
I have dug out the kits that I have that will qualify for the GB, I just need to make my mind up on what to go with now.
"It wouldn't be the same if Pete didn't do a big bird" this sounds like something my mates would say about me when I was a young and single fella lol !

Just going to get Eduards cockpit panels and that's it, no diorama.
...and Simon, my young Padawan, Pete has his Unicorns, but I have my Mystic Roo's....Grand Master indeed!
Me thinks that good time will we have with GB yes.
Oh no he's hit the bottle again...cr@#!
That Roo, looks proper chilled out lol !
Be mindful of the mystic Roo, he just might persuade you to build a large portion of London with Barrage balloons huge explosions ruined buildings the lost lol

Not built a purchased kit since I was a kid (don't ask
)
This is gonna be an expensive build as I have no kits in stock & very few paints.
We all have to start somewhere I guess.
All donations gladly accepted.......wink wink nudge nudge
Go for it Jas ! , it needn't cost the earth if you buy a 1/72 scale bomber, and you don't need hundreds of paints to get started, just the main ones would get you going

These are the possible choices I have for the GB (all 1/32), the Unicorn is telling me to use the Ju-88 and the He-111 and build another unfeasibley large diorama that will have absolutely no chance of fitting anywhere once it's finished

Either/or would look awesome! That B-25 looks mighty tasty too! (Forget the Stuka, no-one cares about the Stuka )

The markings in the box for this Stuka need a Squiggle camo, and that's the reason it hasn't been built lol, but I'm probably going to pilfer the pilots if they fit in one of the Geman bombers, I've found some after market bits and bobs in the Ju-88 box too, looks like etched belts and cockpit

Looks like there are going to be as many if not more participants in this GB than the phantom one. Looking forward to it. Just hope I'm not making things too hard on myself building the revell b-25 kit. Got a lot of scribing and riveting ahead of me. Pete that b-25 kit or the ju-88 look like they could turn out great. Listen to the unicorn. He didn't steer you wrong in the last GB Kenny

Where's Ed? He's usually lurking around by now. Never discount the Portugese Man-o-War either. Definitely a smokey with his dive bombing escapades (and obvious talent).
