These are a bit of an experiment inspired by the advert posters for Sin city 2

Basic idea is only the skin is coloured and rest of figure are done in black and white tones (with the exception of the student of conflict who has a red coat inspired by Schindler's list )

Not entirely sure this works but its an interesting challenge

Paints used Vallejo model air and model colour, Citadel, and Gunze metals

These figure's are 32mm heroic (description by Wyrd) scale

Brilliant idea...I love it.. and it works so well.

These are fantastic and really catch the eye. A wonderful technique and beautiful attention to detail.

You should send copies of pics to Wyrd Miniatures for their gallery...they are that good. [thumb]

Thanks for the comments

I am trying to improve my figure (and model) painting which has been stuck at this level for sometime, so I plan to do a fair few more experimental models to give myself a kick to improve.

[smile] sounds like an idea
I'm trying to work out what to do next
I do have a couple of figures to finish off

May do a couple of 54!mm figures I have from Painting Budda (which I would recommend as a group to look at on YouTube for their excellent how to's). I may do some non metal metallic (NMM) for my next challenge

Stephen
