It's a finish up, I can't remeber exactly when it was but it was in my old house so over 6 years ago. All that had been done was the bodywork ( badly I have to say lol ) I think it was before I was using an airbrush as it was a rattle can job and a little bit thick amd lumpy

The Crazy modeller etch set is really nice but looks a bit daunting too, it replaces the kit clutch, brake discs and chain along with a ton of tiny details. I also have the wiring detail up set but need to find some really good reference pics of the actual bike as the instruction supplied don't cover everything

Paul,
The beginning of the thread indicates this build was one from the shelf of doom that Pete has resurrected to finish.

Pete, That work with the mesh and hosiery material to create the carbon fiber effect is pure gold! the bike is beautiful and has a metallic realism usually seen with a high end diecast model. inspiring!

I do the same thing. Eyes straight to pics on each page.

Brundledork...The bike is very nicely done and the carbon fiber effects are a very nice touch as opposed to decals.  I must try one of these kits on of these days.  Thanks for sharing it!
